The Institute of Medicine's landmark report, Unequal Treatment
(2002), informed many and reminded others of the moral imperative underlying
the nation’s commitment to eliminate racial and ethnic disparities
by 2010. A nation that plans for voyages to Mars is also capable of making
health parity among all U.S. residents a reality. Please join us in our
continued pursuit to close the gaps and change the graphs.
Contributions will be used to support SHIRE’s programs and operations.
SHIRE uses tested strategies to foster individual and group health and
produce measurable health outcomes among underserved communities.
