Claudia Schlosberg, J.D .
Ms. Schlosberg is a partner in the health law group of Blank Rome LLP. Her practice focuses on health care legislative and regulatory matters and compliance, helping providers, payers, and public entities comprehend and respond to the myriad changes in law, regulation, and policy that affect the health care industry, including changes in reimbursement and service delivery under the Medicare Modernization Act.
Prior to joining Blank Rome, Ms. Schlosberg served as acting director of Programs, Policy and Training in the Office for Civil Rights, Department of Health and Human Services, where she served in leadership positions to implement President Bush’s New Freedom Initiative and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy Rule, among other responsibilities. Ms. Schlosberg has extensive experience in federal and state regulatory matters pertaining to institutional and community-based long term care, managed care, behavioral health, quality oversight and accreditation, Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA Privacy, and the State Children’s Health Insurance Program. Ms. Schlosberg received her B.A. from Union College and her J.D. from Antioch College of Law. |
